We’ve made it to show #400! WOW! In this show, I share a massive parent fail on my part. We try hard to stay on top of our teenager, but he can be pretty sneaky! We also talk about an article reported by the BBCNews claiming that texting is helping literacy. What do you think? Our song is Breathe by Plunkett. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!

Its that time of year again! Time to resolve to do things better; to better yourself and the world around you. Well, maybe I’ll just start with myself. Seems there is a lot of work there! Paige and I talk about our New Year’s Resolutions. What are yours? Oh, and by the way…did you know that Santa has Special Delivery Elves? Our song is You Are by Vic Kingsley. We’re back from the holidays! We had fun and interesting times made all the better with a perfectly timed snow storm just before Christmas. My family and I had quite the task to get to the airport the day after the blizzard. While Paige’s family stayed home and helped John experience his first sledding experience. It’s all good. We hope you had a great holiday! Our song is Best Behaviour by the Cartwheel Club. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!

Even though we think we have seen the worst of the flu for this year, its not over. Technically, flu season doesn’t really begin until January or February. I know, I know. We have already had our bout with the flu. But, seriously. This could rear its ugly head AGAIN! Is your family protected? The CDC and Families Fighting Flu have joined with MommyCast to try and get the word out about how important it is to have your family vaccinated. In this show we interview Denise Palmer, mom and member of Families Fighting Flu, to talk about her tragic experience when the flu hit her family. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show.
