We’re a little late with our MacWorld follow-up (technical difficulties). But we wanted to share a few things with you. First, Paige and I were completely surprised to see the Every Baby Has A Story Bus parked in front of Moscone Center! You may remember that we talked about it in show #250. Of course, we had to go see it. And, we both got to record a story! Its a beautiful bus on a very worthy mission to spread information about the prevention of pre-term birth.
Once we left the bus, we went inside and took in all of the sights and the latest innovations for Mac enthusiasts. Here are a few of the products we thought you might be interested in: MacBook Air, Time Capsule, Eye-Fi, Picturesque, Bento, Polar Bear Farm and Neat Receipts. We were also able to see a Guitar Hero champion play the game. WOW! He was amazing.
Our song is Good-Bye Daughters of the Revolution by the Black Crowes. This show is brought to you by FullTerm. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!

Paige saw Juno last weekend. And then, she saw it again! I think she may almost be as in love with this movie as she is with her Xbox 360! There are definite moral issues confronted here. Paige and I talk about whether the movie teaches a lesson or condones teen sex. We recommend seeing it before you allow your young teen to see it (it’s rated PG-13).

There is an article circulating through the web which features families around the world, what they eat in a week and what they pay for the food. This is VERY interesting! Not only can we compare costs, we can compare diets. Can you guess what the American diet looks like? We are not sure where the article originated from, but we found it at FixingThePlanet.com. Our song is Stand by Jen Elliott. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!

Wondering how you can make a difference in the world? The book Every Monday Matters, 52 Ways to Make a Difference which we highlighted in our show #268, helps you get focused on things you can do to help the world. Some things are simple. Some are more complex. Either way, all of the suggestions in this book will leave you a little more conscientious of the world around us and what impact we are having on it. This is a GREAT book to help teach charity and awareness to our children (and adults)!

Paige and I talk about the latest development coming from Microsoft. Smart shopping carts. These are going to be amazing! No more paper grocery lists or coupons! No more waiting in check out lines. Is this too good to be true? But before we discuss grocery carts, Paige shares all about her latest love affair….the XBox 360! Our song is Everybody Needs a Robot by Matthew Ebel. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!

We’re at MacWorld Expo in San Francisco right now. We can’t wait to see all of the new things coming from Apple and all of the affiliates. Steve Jobs announced several things in his keynote address, including the creation of the MacBook Air – the world’s thinnest laptop computer. It weighs LESS than three pounds. Amazing! We are also Sooo happy for the recent iPhone update that has given us more options with our iPhone. We admit it! We’re Apple geeks! Our song is Turn It Up by Brother Love. This show is brought to you by FullTerm. Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring our show!
