Hey Sarah. I'm Karen and I went through the EXACT same thing with my girl. Her names Tori and she used to be nine. But now she's 13. But when she was about 10 she begged me for a cell phone and I said well baby you just need to wait until your old enough to be responsible for one and when I know I can completely trust you. And of corse that didn't work. She threw a HUGE fit. She screamed she cried. But now that she's older she knows where I was coming from and respects my decision more. So hang in there and I promise it will be worth it in the end.

Hi, my names Sarah and I'm 37 years old and I have 2 kids. I love them very much, but my nine year old is driving me crazy! She has recently been begging me for a cell phone and says that ALL of her friends have them. Is this true? Because I find it rather hard to believe. But who knows. Do you think I should allow her to have one? Please give me some advice!!
