We had the pleasure of speaking to Jodi Brown, Director of Development for the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome. This interview is packed full of important information for all parents. Especially, parents who have a hard time dealing with a crying baby. Some babies are “high criers” which can lead to a lot of frustration! In this show, we offer tips and advice on how you can cope with crying. There is also a hotline that you can call: 888-273-0071. Call if you need help! Thanks to Dixie for sponsoring this show!

My first daughter (now 6.5 years old) was a colic baby from about 2 weeks until about 4 months. If she wasn’t (finally) sleeping or nursing, she was SCREAMING. No wonder it took me 5 years to decide to have another! I really thought I was a bad mom because the screaming drove me insane.
My son is now 3 months old and shows no signs of his sister’s behavior!
