10898482_proGoing to a movie this week?  The Blind Side has to be the one you see!  Paige and I both saw this movie and LOVED it!  It is one of the best movies of the year and the perfect family movie for the Thanksgiving holiday.  But it isn’t fluff. There is real substance here and I can only hope that everyone else has the opportunity to see it. Leigh Anne Tuohy took a chance and acted on her instincts as a mother. She made a difference in the life of a young person. We should all hope for an experience such as this. The movie was well done, well directed and well acted. Sandra Bullock was fantastic! And, surprise! Tim McGraw knocked my socks off. He was REALLY good! Go. See It! You won’t be disappointed!

Watch the featurette on our website and look for show #391 – we interview the mom behind the story, Leigh Anne Tuohy!

Your interview with Leigh Anne was very timely. My husband and our 2 teenage kids went to see Blind Side on Thanksgiving day before heading to Grandma & Grandpa’s house. It was such a great message of “doing the right thing”. I grew up in a household much like that. There were always extra “family members” around the table, many of whom lived with us for extended periods of time until they could get their feet underneath them again. Your interview allowed Leigh Anne to reinforce the big screen portrayal of her persona… that doing the right thing has no alterior motive when it truly comes from the heart. True “Charity” doesn’t include expectations of getting something back from the investment in someone else’s life.
